Academy 1 Fast Track – For Brand New Swimmers

This can include the child afraid of getting their face wet, or the eager child who needs to learn basic respect for the water. We will teach them the core competencies for safety and set them up for success in their future learning.

  • Water Comfort and Safety
  • Breath Control
  • Submersions for 3 seconds
  • Front Glides
  • Independent front glide with reaching arms
  • Back floats
  • Front Glide and Roll into a back float for 10 seconds
  • Entries and Exits
  • Jump into the pool and roll into a back float
  • Assisted exit (elbow, elbow, tummy, knee, knee)

Academy 2 Fast Track – Our “Water Safe” Level

In Academy 2, swimmers learn directional kicking and how to support themselves to always get the breath they need. Upon completion, they will be able to enter and exit aquatic environments and propel themselves to safety.

  • Independent front glide with pizza arms
  • Kicking
  • Flutter kicking technique
  • Glide Roll Swim
  • Independent movement across the pool with breath recovery
  • Entries and Exits
  • Climb out, jump in, roll into back float, and swim back to wall

Academy 3 Fast Track – The Beginning Of Competitive Technique

In Academy 3, swimmers will learn a perfect side breath for freestyle and the importance of maintaining momentum throughout their breath. They will also learn back to properly perform backstroke kicks in preparation for backstroke.

  • Rhythmic breathing and intro to competitive technique
  • Front glide and kicking review
  • Front glide with pizza arms and kicks
  • Freestyle Side breathing

  • Sitting dives

Academy 4 Fast Track

Here, swimmers will learn to swim a full lap of freestyle and backstroke. The perfect candidate for Academy 4 must be able to kick perfect flutter kicks, side breath to both sides and perform perfect backstroke kicks.
